incidentally, i need to tell you people something. when i went to my cousin's house, we, that is to say, me and my sisters, saw a lump of brown stuff in the park near julie's house. we went to investigate. it turned out to be nothing more than a small fuzzy pony owned by a 40-something year old women (i estimate). she also had a dog called spud. spud was very cute.

yes, so, the woman talked to us...she said she had MS - multiple sclerosis - and she said the pony got her walking about everyday, which was good. so the pony was quite small; it reached just above my hip...

the pony was adorable! :)

yes, she was a very nice woman, and she said she kept the pony in the backyard and she said she had noticed how we had come out of number 21, and she said she used to live there...

after, she had to leave, so we said our goodbyes and left. she was a very nice lady, and the pony and spud were cute. :)

by the way, it's almost dinnertime...i've also noticed that friends started 7 minutes ago, so i'm late.

i'm going camping this friday-tuesday at nelson's bay, i think. :) this week's going to be kinda busy. except for tomorrow. i still get tomorrow as a lazy day, so i'll think do some baking. and video-ing.

you see, gloriana has inspired me. when things inspire me, they tend to be short-lived, so i should do it soon, or i'll lose interest, me being the weirdo i am.

oh well, so tomorrow will be a lazy day, wednesday shall be shopping (at westfield, for dvds, cds, food and swimwear! i need a new swimming costume. bleck), thursday shall be packing, then the actual camping for 5 days. that's right 5 days. like, my phone's going to die.

but at least there's a beach, so we can go swimming. and i need to bring my camera. and spare batteries. lots of spare batteries. hahaha.

and i'm between 1/4 and 1/3 of the way through harry potter and the half-blood prince, which i ave to finish by thursday so i can read DH while camping, because HBP is not mine, but DH is my copy and not nikki's so i can do whatever i want with it. :D

half yearlies

aren't you guys all glad that half yearly exams are over? i'm not.

anyway, daphne's back from china. she came back on friday. i'm so excited. i haven't seen her in AGES. :D YAY.

oh yes, and all during exam week, it was so gloomy. so rainy. so wet. and then, on saturday, i was counting on it being wet so i wouldn't have to go to netball. i'd missed out on the last two weeks because it was wet. so, on saturday, netball wasn't cancelled. it was a tiny bit wet. but the courts were still playable.

i only got a half-game. oh yes, it was also a split game. we versed monty for the first two quarters, and then we played mcc for the last two quarters. i was goal keeper for the first two quarters (the monty game). then i was off for the mcc game. even though i was captain. :O i know.

who cares, though? i don't think you care about my netball game. ;P

anyways, half yearlies were okay. it's just that i got my chinese test back. i got 86%. i'm still not sure if that's good or bad, seeing as i got 60.5 out of 70. oh wello jello.

every night, my older sister turns on the tv, switches to ABC2 (channel 22) and watches the daily show (with jon stewart). it's sort of interesting and strangely funny. the daily show is a show that mocks basically everything political. i don't get it half the time...but my sister laughs all the time. she gets it.

i think the colbert report is better though. (*NOTE: it is pronounced coal-bear ree-pour) bahahaha. so, this show mocks republicans. (you might not get it; it's an american thingie) yeah, more than half the time i get this show. it's funny. mocking americans is funny. but some americans are cool. i think. i haven't met any. ;D

the daily show is on at 7:15-7:30 on ABC2 on weeknights. the colbert report (remember: coal-bear ree-pour!) is on at 7:30-8:00 on ABC2 on weeknights.

MY MUM'S BIRTHDAY!!!

IT'S THE 18TH OF JANUARY!!!

yeah, i love my mum to bits. she's awesome. :)

me & my dad decided to go shopping today as soon as he got home from work for my mum's present. we left, and while we were at the shops my mum came home. she was asking where we were, and my sister said she didn't know (even though she did). LOL.

meanwhile, at the shops, me & my dad were at myers, looking for "chloé" perfume, cos my mum's favourite perfume brand is chloé. yeah. we sprayed the test perfume on our hands. then we bought some and went home...

my mum asked where i was when i wished her a happy birthday. i'm bad at lying to my mum...this is what i said:

mum: "where were you and dad?"
me: "uhh...umm...we were...buying..peaches."
mum (looking sceptical): you were buying peaches?"
me: "uhh, yeah!"
me (to my little sister): "anyway, so shan, whatcha doing?"

so after that, i walked off. hehe. then my mum saw my dad, and asked where we were. he said we were at jb hi fi. she asked what were we doing there. my dad said looking at sound systems. (we actually did do that, but only cos we were there already). my mum was like what?? it's my birthday and you didn't go to the shops to buy something for me??

LOL.

then later, while i was gone, she asked my dad why he smelt like perfume. xDD much???

and yeah, so i snuck the perfume upstairs and i wrapped it (badly) and made a card. :) i'm always the one making a card. every year, it's me. for anyone important, i make the card and my sisters sign it. D:< anyways, i still haven't given the card & present to my mum yet. i will. :) when my dad signs the card. :P

i missed out on putting up a post with a vid yesterday cos i went to cronulla with my cousins & sisters.

i hate the beach.

i got sunburnt real bad. when we got back, i went to the toilet and saw my face in the mirror. i was full on red on my cheeks and nose. it was horrible. then my aunt put some aloe vera on it, and then this morning, i woke up and they are still sorta pink. -sigh- annoying. and it stings when i touch the burnt spots, so i have to avoid blowing my nose and scratching itches on my face.

i hate getting sunburnt.

2009 went by so quickly, it's sorta sad. year 7's over, and i'm going to be in year 8 next this year. see? i'm still living in 2009. :O i'm so young compared to my sister. sister n is going to be 17 this year...she's going to be in year 12. she's going to finish high school this year. wow. then she's going to go away to england...
